The location was great, just a short walk to the beachfront and Stearns Wharf, but the room setup seemed odd, being a couple of blocks away in what felt like an annex location between residential buildings. While the service was exceptional, especially with quick help for a faulty door, the dining experience left something to be desired. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel was in a nice location, near the city beach with a close distance to the wharf. The rooms in the large Santa Maria building were spacious and comfortable but felt smaller, darker, and a bit musty. The service, particularly on the street side, was super friendly and accommodating. Dining options, including room service and poolside menu, were excellent although a bit pricey. The hotel lacked direct access to some key attractions like State Street and the wharf but was close to old town SB, requiring a short Uber ride or a 30-minute walk.
